Your Lido Key Locksmith
Lido Key is the barrier island just across the John Ringling Causeway from downtown Sarasota, home to St. Armands Circle, Lido Beach, and a mix of waterfront condos, vacation rentals, and private homes. Salt air and constant guest turnover are hard on locks, so Lido Key properties often need coastal lock maintenance, rekeying between guests, and fast lockout help. Lockhart Locksmith owner Keith Lockhart has been serving Sarasota's islands since 2017: showing up fast and doing the job right.

Locks Built for Island Living
Salt air is hard on door hardware. Handlesets, deadbolts and gate latches on Lido Key corrode faster than the same parts a few miles inland, and a lock that sticks or grinds is usually asking for service, not replacement. Our coastal lock maintenance keeps hardware turning smoothly, and when a lock is past saving we can replace it with corrosion-resistant hardware from the brands we carry.
Many homes and condos near St. Armands Circle and Lido Beach are vacation rentals or second homes. We rekey between tenants, set up keypad and Wi-Fi smart locks so you can issue and cancel guest codes without handing over keys, and secure sliding and French doors that face the water. Coming from the mainland? We cover Lido Key as part of our Sarasota service area, just across the Ringling Causeway.
Lido Key Areas We Serve
